Short answer: you can't. there are a few ways, but they are highly problematic, if you search around on these forums you can find some answers, however

Don't do flickering invisibility that way.
Easy method:
Code: [Select]
SetEntityRenderFx(client, RENDERFX_FLICKER_SLOW);
or
SetEntityRenderFx(client, RENDERFX_FLICKER_FAST);

RENDER_NONE or (even better) a SetTransmit hook should be added to war3source buff engine if a player is 100% invis.

EDIT:
the thing that makes me curious is why does invisibility work in warmup? Maybe the client just ignores what render color a player has and just checks if we're in a warmup or not(maybe it's just a netprop we've toggle).

I asked a VALVe employee about this and he said he had no idea why it wouldn't work for war3source as they apparently have it working just fine.

I guess i'll figure this out when ever i have our servers setup on CS:GO...

Yeah I'm a bit slow, but with so many different mods that I'm working on, doing a full upgrade to CS:GO for my private copy of war3source will take a bit of time.   So I'm stabilizing all my other products before I begin work on my private copy.   During the work on my private copy, if I figure out the invisibility issue, I will transfer to update to War3Source.

Not sure I quite got that.  Is it a private copy you have?

I was being silly, referring to the fact that you mentioned your private copy so many times in one post ;-)
