You're unlikely to find someone who will set it up for you.  Long term you need to have an idea yourself of how to run it, since you'll have to maintain it!

Nice one!  It would almost be an interesting idea to extend to all items so that you had a visual representation of what people are carrying...

Have you installed any sourcemod plugins before?

Do you have ftp access to your server?

Sound files have been added to the repo (at least most of them should be there now).

I haven't sorted through them, it's just a dump, so there may be repeats of core files in there.

Not to mention that if you had unspenadable skill points, you would have to work out a way to NOT pop up the spend skill points window everytime you spawn :D

Oh that are some sad news. How many years did the CS:S server run for? I think it should be around atleast 6 years or something like that. Very great work!
Maybe your content release will once again light a fire in the War3Source community.

I think it was around the 6 year mark!  I don't know whether w3s will come back to any sort of real strength, as neither CS:GO nor TF2 seem to work quite so well with it...   Then again, I've said that every time since CS 1.5, and here I am, 15 years later still mucking around with warcraft themed CS :D

After many years of great times, sevensinsgaming is closing down.  In the course of running Australia's most popular war3source CS:S server, we created a LOT of custom content, as well as doing a lot of work to fix up content from others.

With the closure of our servers and community, I am in the process of packaging up all our custom content to release it publicly on these forums.  This includes a lot of new races, as well as a bunch of custom plugins and versions of other people's races that we've fixed up.  The majority of our content was specifically for CS:S, although a lot was tested on CS:GO, and some on TF2.

I am aware that a lot of the content we will release is based off (or is in it's entirety) other people's work.  I don't intend on taking credit for what isn't our work.  If I release a race that is yours, and is either not attributed properly, or you don't want released, then please contact me and I'll remove it / update the credits properly.

Finally, the content we release will come with NO SUPPORT AT ALL.  You will need to be able to compile it yourself, and use it yourself.  ANY direct request to me for help will be ignored.  The community may choose to provide support.

What happens is that, the fluttershy option doesnt appear anywhere at all. When I put that config option in, nothing happened tbh.

Has the race loaded on your server?

Can you change to it by typing "changerace flut" ?

Do you have any errors in your logs?

Is the race listed in console when you type "sm plugings list" ?

Not working, both are freezing.

What do you mean by freezing?  I need more details than you've given.

As for plant/defuse, as you can see from the above discussion, there is not really a workaround with the current implementation.

Ah, maybe it's only XP.

Still, it's a very easy plugin to write.

Use the OnRoundEnd function, check the player against winning team, give them 2 gold if so, 1 if not...  Very easy plugin.

You could write your own plugin very easily that does that...

You already win 2 gold on round win, so you would need to check each player, and if they are on the losing team give them 1 gold.

You're right though, since boyscout is public, I don't see it being a problem to share ours.

Can someone modify levelbank or war3source base this way? :

On some "race" ill get 16 lvl, and then, when i get XXX (for ex. 6k) more EXP, ill get one level into LEVELBANK to spend on other races.

I think this is a really bad idea.  It encourages people to play the really powerful races constantly, and then use levelbanks to level up their weaker races.

The race is a modified version of the original Boy Scout written by xDr.HaaaaaaaXx, and while I don't know if our senior dev wants the source released, this is every call to a HP buff or heal shown in context:

There's a similar trend in the other affected races on our server. I'll be checking every race on our server which uses the NoHPChange buff soon to see if it's one of them, but since I'm not aware of a pattern to the occurrences it's difficult to tell if it's our plugins or the core. That's why we want to see if anyone else has been experiencing a similar issue to get a better idea of where to look for the problem :)

I don't mind if you need to post up our full source for boyscout.  Dr Haaax might though :D

thought it was an approved one.

It IS an approved one.  When it was packaged, they changed the name.  The race Hammerstorm IS that race.  It has probably since been patched and fixed more, so that the copy that is on the forums is now outdated, but the one that comes with the game (renamed) is working.

I'm using war3 in TF2 with fast respawn, when you die the ultimate cooldown goes back to 10 seconds, instead of continuing the previous ultimate cooldown... how can I fix it?

This is the case for most but not all races. Warden, for example, has no ultimate cooldown reset on spawn. Whether or not ultimate is reset on spawn is determined by the race. However, it should be possible to implement a override cvar to control this behavior in the cooldown engine if desired.

And last thing, it seems when war3source is on all admin commands stops working... like sm_noclip, sm_blind, sm_burn, and probably more, they simply do nothing...
Admin commands not working is a known problem, it's possible to re-implement sm_noclip behavior by listening to sm_noclip console commands or maybe even redo the buff engine using a less obscure method but sm_blind and sm_burn should work AFAIK

my bad, only noclip doesn't work... about the ultimates, would u know how to edit the races to not reset cooldown on spawn? Thanks again I appreciate your help.

One of the toggles in the war3sourcecooldown functions is whether to reset cooldown on spawn.  You'd have to toggle that to what ever it is you want.

That would be because the author of these races no longer wants them to be available...
